Model Context Protocol
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets AI tools access external data sources. Readdit Later's MCP integration turns your Reddit save library into a personal knowledge connector that works inside Claude, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible client.
Two connection modes are available. Remote MCP gives you a personal connector URL you add in Claude Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector — it works on Claude web, desktop, and mobile with search-by-meaning, stats, unread saves, and notes. The connection is token-secured and auto-expires after 30 days of inactivity. Local MCP runs via npx readdit-later-mcp for Claude Desktop, Cursor, and other local clients, with full control: search, label, organize collections, add notes, delete, and export as CSV or Markdown.
How people use it
Research with Claude using your own saves
Ask Claude to reference your saved posts while researching a topic. Your saves become context that Claude can search, cite, and summarize alongside web results.
Coding context in Cursor
Connect your Reddit saves to Cursor so your AI coding assistant can reference tutorials, Stack Overflow discussions, and documentation you bookmarked on Reddit.
Search saves by meaning from any client
The MCP server supports semantic search, so you can describe what you are looking for rather than remembering exact keywords. Works from any MCP-compatible client.
Organize and export from your AI workflow
The local MCP server supports write operations — label, organize into collections, add notes, delete, and export — so you can manage your save library without opening Readdit Later directly.
