Reddit's API only returns your most recent 1,000 saved items. Once you pass that threshold, older saves silently drop off the list — no warning, no notification. They are not deleted from Reddit's database, but they are no longer accessible through any interface. Posts that were deleted by their authors or removed by moderators also disappear from your saved list, since the save was a reference to the post, not a copy of it.
